November 2004 - Its a sad day in payphone history for me. My favorite payphone # in Salt Lake City, The Sugarhouse Park Payphone is now disconnected. The phone is still there (so far) but the # is disconnected. That was one of the first numbers I collected on my old payphone list back in the early 1980's when I was in high school. I remember that phone when it was rotary dial. I'll keep tabs on the phone itself and see if it gets removed.

12/06/2004 - The sugarhouse park payphone # is working again and on the same phone. The phone was never removed. Who knows why they disconnected it, kept the phone there and then hooked it up again. Maybe the payphone forgot to pay its phone bill.
